My name is Vince Zangaro, founder of Elder Care Fixer, and I have spent more than two decades helping families navigate some of the most difficult moments of their lives. My journey into senior care was not born from a business plan—it was born from personal experience. I spent 14 years caring for my father as he battled Alzheimer's disease and was honored to be by his side throughout his journey, including his final days in hospice care. Like so many families, I experienced the confusion, exhaustion, fear, and uncertainty that often accompany aging, chronic illness, and long-term caregiving. That experience became my life's mission. Throughout my career, I have worked alongside hospitals, rehabilitation centers, home health agencies, hospice providers, senior living communities, Medicaid programs, and home care organizations throughout Georgia. I have helped countless families understand their options, build care teams, navigate healthcare systems, and find solutions that preserve dignity and quality of life. I am also the founder of the Alzheimer's Music Fest, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting families impacted by Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. Through advocacy, education, fundraising, and community outreach, I have worked to raise awareness while providing real-world support to caregivers and their loved ones. At Elder Care Fixer, my goal is simple: to be the one call families make when they don't know where to turn. Whether you're facing a hospital discharge, dementia diagnosis, rehabilitation stay, home care needs, hospice decision, Medicaid questions, or senior living placement, I help simplify the process and connect you with trusted resources. You do not have to navigate this journey alone. My commitment is to provide honest guidance, compassionate support, and practical solutions—always putting the needs of families first. Because when life gets complicated, everyone deserves someone who knows how to help fix it.
My Story: A Promise Kept
A decade of personal advocacy translated into professional expertise
For over a decade, I navigated the complex journey of caring for my father, experiencing first-hand the overwhelming crisis families face. That journey defined my mission: to serve as the advocate I wish we had. I founded Elder Care Fixer to provide the compassion, expertise, and direct action families need to transition from fear to confidence in the care of their elderly loved ones.
